| SOIC Prototyping Adapters provide a convenient way to test a device. The
adapter provides an SOIC test socket. The socket and board are removable from the solder-down SOIC plug. These adapters are packaged with two SOIC solder-down plugs and extra six-packs of plugs are available.
Notes
on SOIC Sockets: Some SOIC devices are available in more than one body width per pin count so it is necessary to know what width package you have. Socket dimensions are included on our adapter data sheets, accessible from the searches or tables on this page.
